Waco, Texas

Waco is a city in and the county seat of McLennan County, Texas. The city has a 2010 Census total population of 124,805. Today, it is a large city with modern pleasures such as theaters, malls, and restraunts. The Brazos River runs through the middle of the city, and the celebrated Waco Suspension Bridge crosses it. Waco is home to Baylor University, McLennan Community College, and Texas State Technical College Waco.

    The reason I don't say the opening is I'm not sure what it opened as. I'm leaning Skaggs Supercenter (as by that time the Albertsons partnership was ending) but it would've become Skaggs Alpha Beta in the 1980s, Jewel-Osco in 1991, then Albertsons in 1992.
